Ruslan and Ludmila

Composed by Mikhail Glinka. Like Eugene Onegin, it’s an opera adaptation of the Pushkin poem of the same name. It seems like a very niche opera. I’m having a hard time finding a good quality recording.

Synopsis

It’s about Ruslan, a brave Russian warrior, who must go find his bride who has been kidnapped by an evil sorcerer!

Discovery

July 23, 2026. Boston Airport waiting to go to Toronto
