Phases

Pre-clinial

Phase 1

Healthy human volunteers are given the treatment (or placebo). This is where safety is tested and generally we’re interested in the Minimum tolerated dose

Phase 2

This is the investigate look of vaccine efficacy.

Phase 3

This is the pivotal phase.
