NONMEM
Definition
Stands for NONlinear Mixed Effects Modeling. It’s a paid program that you use to parameterize PK-PD models using mixed-effect models. It’s written in the 1970’s in FORTRAN. I think it’s interesting that when I was job searching, I saw a lot of request for knowingNONMEM. I mean I know mixed-effect models, so I just somewhat said I knew NONMEM. But basically just say you know NONMEM by going to use the R package NLMIXR2, which is an open-source version of that (kinda).
A frustrating thing, however, is that I feel like NLMIXR2 assumes you come from the NONMEM side.
